Telekinesis - Fight Club

Slovenian Drum & Bass stalwarts Telekinesis are to kick off 2015 with a new five-track EP on Blackout NL. Scheduled for release on March 8th, the duo – comprising of producers Smooth and Markoman – return to the label for the first time since impressive 2013 EP ‘Judgement Day’.
Intro track ‘Bias’ – an unwavering onslaught of pounding bass – sets things up perfectly for title-track ‘Fight Club’, which delivers further punch with its hardbody drums and overpowering frequencies. Continuing the frenetic workout, both ‘Sleep’ and ‘Jab’, channel weighty kick-drums and quaking mid-range bass-lines before the distorted beats and deafening drums of ‘Bragger’ bring the EP to a close – neurofunk drum & bass at its finest.
Following a recent remix for Blackout label-mates State of Mind, ‘Fight Club’ builds on the reputation Telekinesis have already garnered for their hard-edged approach to drum & bass. Slickly produced, it’s a dark, grinding slice of club action that feeds into Blackout’s penchant for neurofunk and having already earned support form the likes of Andy C, Ed Rush, Camo & Crooked and Spor, it feels ready to make a real impact over the first few months of 2015.
